In 2024, Brandon made a transformative career decision to join Veritas Alaska, driven by a desire to assist individuals and foster meaningful relationships.

Brandon moved following a 25-year career as a Portfolio Manager and shareholder at McKinley Capital Management, an Alaskan-based asset management firm. At McKinley, he managed multi-billion dollar portfolios for institutional clients like the Alaska Permanent Fund, Verizon Wireless, and the State Teachers of Minnesota. His move to Veritas was motivated by a desire to make a more direct impact, guiding individuals toward their financial aspirations, be it retirement, education, or other legacy endeavors.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. His professional career began at McKinley, eventually prompting him to attain the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, underscoring his commitment to the financial field.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Brandon actively engages with the Anchorage community, serving as a board member for various organizations and participating in civic activities. Notably, as a member of the Anchorage Municipal Trust Investment Advisory Commission, he contributed to overseeing investments in the city's $400 million trust fund.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends in the great outdoors. Whether coaching Cross Country running, competing in local mountain races, hiking the Chugach front range, skiing local trails, or casting for fish, he strives to make a positive impact on the community in the Last Frontier.
